A Victorian Part Painted Pine Kitchen Prep Table or Work Table Raised on Tapering Supports

A Victorian Part Painted Pine Kitchen prep, work or side table raised on tapering supports. The table is made of pine, which has a good colour and grain patination. The table is formed with the top being made from two planks and has rounded corners. The top has a clear waxed finish adding a bit of shine to it. The base of the table has a thick underskirt and then tapering square supports. The base of the table has been painted cream at some point, which is now worn and flaked off in places, this has also had a clear waxed finish. The table would be ideal as a small dining or kitchen table or use a as a prep table. The table dates to around 1880.

Condition
The condition of the table is excellent, it has light scuffs and marks. The two planks on the top have slightly opened, the paint has worn and flaked in places. There are new corner supports on the underside where the old ones have dropped off, overall a good solid table.
