A Victorian Mahogany & Satinwood Astrical Glazed Two Door Bookcase

A good quality Victorian mahogany and satinwood astrical glazed two door bookcase raised on splayed bracket feet. The bookcase is made from mahogany, which has a good colour and grain patination. The bookcase is formed with it having two large door both are astrical glazed. Opening the bookcase it is set with three shelves which slide in and out and can be positioned in various places. The back of the bookcase is painted in a red colour. To the bottom of the bookcase it is set with a small cupboard. The doors are Inlayed with a large oval satinwood panel, with angled mahogany veneers. There is also stringing and banding around the base and top. The whole bookcase is raised on splayed bracket feet and has a shaped moulding between the legs. The bookcase dates to around 1870-1890.

Condition
The condition of the bookcase is excellent, with light scuffs and marks. There is a few veneer chips across the base moulding between the legs. Overall a great bookcase ready to be placed and used.
