A Victorian Carved Walnut Single Door Bedside Cabinet Pot Cupboard

A Victorian carved walnut single door bedside cabinet or pot cupboard. The bedside cabinet is made from walnut, which has a good colour and grain patination. The cabinet is formed with it having a stepped top rim. To the front of the cabinet it has an open storage section, which has a carved and shaped pediment to the top. Below this there is a single door, which has a carved panel to the centre, this is carved with a flower. Opening the cabinet it has a good storage area. The whole cabinet is raised on a tall caddy plinth with moulded top edge. The cabinet dates to around 1880-1890.

Condition
The condition of the cabinet is excellent, with small marks on the top where originally a small back rest may have been, but it’s been long gone. There is also light scuffs and marks but overall very good ready to be placed and used.
