A Victorian Carved Walnut Chiffonier with Mirrored Back

A Victorian carved walnut chiffonier, with mirrored back support and of a great size. The chiffonier is made from walnut, which as has a great rich colour and grain patination. The chiffonier is formed with the being set with two top drawers, each with reeded lines across them as decoration. Below this there is two cupboards, each panelled and again having the reeded lines down them. Opening them there is a fitted single shelf adding extra storage areas. The back of the chiffonier is set with a panelled section below a single shelf supported on turned columns. A live the shelf there is a rectangular bevel edged mirror. The top has a shaped and carved pediment. The chiffonier is of a good size and dates to around 1880.

Condition
The condition of the chiffonier is excellent, with light scuffs, scratches and marks. One of the panels on the door has a split in it but that’s not noticeable as it looks like the grain. Overall a very good Chiffonier with good storage areas ready to be used.
