A Victorian Bamboo Tripod Cricket Table with Octagonal Green Velvet Top

A Victorian bamboo tripod cricket table with bamboo cross stretcher, set with octagonal top which is set with a green velvet. The table is made mainly from bamboo, which has great colours and tiger stripes running through it. The table is formed with it having three legs each angled out. Each leg then has small angled supports to the top. Between the legs at the base there is three angled bamboo supports fitted to leave a triangular section. The top of the table is octagonal in shape and then set with a green velvet inset top. The table dates to around 1880 and is unusual in shape.
