A Victorian Art Nouveau Walnut Dressing Table over Chest Base

A Victorian Art Nouveau walnut dressing table, raised over a three drawer chest base. The dressing table is made from walnut, which has a great colour and good grain patination. The dressing table is formed with the base being set with three full length graduated drawers. Each drawer has reeded lines across them. To the top there is a carved and pierced back support. It has a central rectangular bevel edged mirror with a carved cornice to the mirror. There is a tall rectangular mirror flanking either side of the central mirror. The back support is carved with Art Nouveau arrow head and swirl designs. There is two small jewellery drawers set into the back support. Each drawer is set with its original Art Nouveau drop handles. The dressing table dates to around 1890.

Condition
The condition of the dressing table is excellent, with light scuffs and marks. There is a replacement back panel, which is solid and makes no difference to the overall look.
