A Titchmarsh & Goodwin Solid Oak Drop Leaf Gateleg Dining Table

A good quality solid oak Titchmarsh & Goodwin style drop leaf dining table, raised on turned supports. The table is made from oak, which has a great colour and grain patination. The table is formed with it making a pan oval shape when both leaves are up. The edge rim of the top is rounded. The table has a leaf on each side which is supported by a folding leg, making the table seat 4-6 people. The table is raised on eight turned legs with base stretchers. The table is quite heavy and of a good quality, in the Titchmarsh and Goodwin style but isn’t marked. The table is in the Georgian style but is probably only 30-40 years old.
