A Single Vintage Art Deco C1930s Cinema Theatre Seat or Chair Red Velvet REF9

A single vintage retro Art Deco circa 1930 cinema or theatre seat or chair, upholstered in a red velvet. The chair is formed with the back being curved and then padded and upholstered in a red velvet material. The back of the seat is wooden. The seat base folds down and is padded and covered in the same red material. The base of the seat is covered in wood. The arms of the seats are made from cast iron, which has been painted gold. To the top of each arm piece there is a polished shaped wooden arm rest. The chair dates to the 1930s and was originally fitted in a small cinema near Kent. The chair is ideal for window display, café, home cinema, bar, hairdressers or barbers shop. The chair freestands fine but can be fitted to the floor or wooden runners or plinth.

Condition
The condition of the chair is excellent. There is light ware to the material, and a small tear on the left hand side hardly noticable. There is light scratches and scuffs to the wooden areas, but overall ready to be used for years to come.
