A Single Vintage Art Deco C1930s Cinema or Theatre Chair Seat with Aisle End Panels

A single vintage, retro Art Deco circa 1930s cinema or theatre chair, upholstered in a patterned material and set with aisle end panels. The chair is formed with the back being curved then padded and upholstered in the patterned material. The materials pattern has pinks, blues, reds and greens in it in a kind of herringbone design. To the top of the back there is a fitted seat number this is 10 but we have others to choose from. The back of the seat is covered in a wooden panel which is painted turquoise. The seat base fold down and again is deeply padded and upholstered in the same patterned material. The bottom of the seat is covered in a wooden panel again painted turquoise. The arms on the chair are made from cast iron, which has been painted turquoise. On either end there is a aisle end panel, which is solid and plain making a great looking single chair. To the tops there is a shaped and polished wooden arm rest. The chair freestands fine and was removed from a theatre near Bury. The chairs are ideal for a café, home cinema, hairdressers or barbers shop, hallway seating or as a talking point. The chair date to around 1930.

Condition
The condition of the chairs is excellent, there is light marks to the material from use. The wood areas has light scuffs and marks. To the bottom of the seat there is an old glue mark. Overall ready to be used for years to come.
