A Set of Four Victorian Mahogany Balloon Back Dining Chairs Raised on Turned Supports

A set of four Victorian mahogany balloon back dining chairs, raised on turned supports and upholstered in a gold velvet material. The chairs are made from mahogany, which has a great colour and grain patination. The chairs are formed with them having the balloon shaped back with a carved back rest. The chairs seats lift in and out and are upholstered and padded in a gold velvet material with floral design on it. The chairs are raised on turned front legs and angled back legs. The chairs date to around 1860-70.
