A Row of Three Vintage Art Deco C1930s Cinema Theatre Seats or Chairs with Aisle End Panels REF4
A row of three vintage or retro Art Deco circa 1930s cinema or theatre seats or chairs, which have been reupholstered in a yellow woollen material and are set with a pair of decorative aisle end panels. The seats are formed with the backs being curved. The seat backs are then padded and upholstered in the faded woollen material. The backs of the seats are covered in a stained and polished wooden panel. The seat bases fold down and are again deeply padded and upholstered in the same yellow material. The seat bases are covered in stained and polished wooden panels. The arm section are made from cast iron, which have been left in the original gold colour which is worn. To either side the seats are set with decorative aisle end panels. These are formed with a moulded GB and sunburst design coming off of it. To the tops of each arm section they are fitted with a shaped and polished wooden arm rest. The seats will freestand fine but can be mounted down to a base plinth or floor if wanted. The seats date to around 1930 and were removed from a cinema in Scotland but have been reupholstered. The seats would be ideal for a hallway, feature, cafe, hairdressers or barbers shop, interior design setting.

Condition
The condition of the seats are excellent, with light scuffs and marks to the wooden and metal areas. The material is very good, with the odd very light mark. Overall a very comfy set of seats ready to be placed and used.
