A Queen Anne Style Burr Walnut Two Door Wardrobe with Fitted Interior

A Queen Anne style burr walnut two door wardrobe, with fitted interior and raised on squat cabriole supports. The wardrobe is made from walnut and burr walnut, so has a great colour and grain patination to it. The wardrobe is formed with it having a serpentine top, with a carved central pediment. Each door has crossbanded edge in walnut and the centre is all burr walnut. Opening the wardrobe it is fitted with a clothes rail to one side and then a shoe bar to the base. The right hand side of the wardrobe is fitted with open shelves, glazed cupboards and drawers. To the front it is set with an ornate lock plate and hinge plates, and it comes with its key to lock the door. The wardrobe dates to around 1950, and would split down if needed but we have never done this.

The condition of the wardrobe is excellent, with light scuffs and marks, overall a great wardrobe ready to be placed and used.
