A Quality Cut Glass & Silver Mounted Whiskey Decanter Assayed London 1990

A quality cut and etched silver mounted whiskey decanter, etched for the 4th-7th Royal Dragoon Guards and assayed for London 1990. A large and very heavy whiskey decanter. The decanters base is bulbous in shape, which is then cut, faceted and etched with floral patterns. It has a star cut base design. The neck of the decanter is faceted and slender. The neck of the decanter has a silver mount. The silver rim is engraved with the emblem of the 4th-7th Royal Dragoon Guards. It is also dated 1992 and is engraved with the letters RJJ. The mount is also assayed for London 1990 and has the makers JAC for J A Campbell. The stopper is faceted and a good fit.
