A Pair of Vintage Retro Circa 1930s Cinema Theatre Seats or Chairs Red Velvet Upholstery

A pair of vintage or retro circa 1930 cinema or theatre seats or chairs, which have recently been reupholstered in a rich rev velvet, and are set with decorative cast iron work. The chairs are formed with the backs small in size and with a shaped and polished mahogany top rail. The backs are then upholstered and deeply padded in the red velvet upholstery which has a feel of crushed velvet. To the top edge of the seats it has a studded finish. The backs of the seats are also polished wood. The seat bases fold down and again have been reupholstered in the same red velvet. This makes them very comfortable and ready to be used straight away. The bottoms of the seats are covered in a polished wooden panel. The seats are supported on cast iron frame work. The frame work is real decorative and has leaves and vines moulded into it. To the tops it has a polished wooden arm rests. The chairs date to around 1930 and were removed from a theatre in Newcastle. The chairs have recently been reupholstered. The chairs are ideal for a home cinema, shop, hairdressers, barbers shop, tattoo parlour, coffee shop, hallway for putting shoes on and many more places, even just a talking point.

Condition
The condition of the cinema seats are excellent, with scuffs and marks to the wooden bases and backs. The material is excellent. Overall these are great seats ready to be placed and used.
