A Pair of Vintage Art Deco Circa 1930s Cinema Theatre Chairs or Seats with Aisle End Panels REF9
A pair of vintage or retro circa 1930s cinema or theatre seats or chairs, set with decorative aisle end panels and upholstered in a red velvet material. The seat backs are formed with them being angled and with a black painted top rail. The chair back is upholstered and padded in a red velvet material. The back of chair is wooden and has been painted black. The seat bases fold down and are again upholstered and padded in the same red velvet material. The bottom of the seat is set with a light coloured oak seat base. The arms on the chairs are made from cast iron, which has been painted gold at some point. To the tops of the arms there are set with shaped wooden arm rests. To either end of the chairs there is a real decorative aisle end panel. The end panel is of Art Nouveau influence and has a floral and shaped design on it. The chairs date to the 1930s but have been reupholstered recently. There were removed from a small cinema in Dorset. The chairs freestand fine, but can be mounted to the foot or screwed to plinths. The chairs are ideal for home cinema, window display, café, hairdressers, barbers shop etc.

Condition
The condition of the cinema seats are very good, there is light scratches and marks to the wooden bases and back, overall ready to be fitted and used for years to come.
