A Pair of Vintage Art Deco C1930s Cinema Theatre Seats or Chairs With Aisle End Panel

A pair of vintage or retro circa 1930s Art Deco cinema or theatre chairs or seats, which are upholstered in a golden coloured velvet material and set with a decorative aisle end panel to one side. The seat backs on the chairs are curved. The backs are then padded and upholstered in a gold coloured velvet material. The backs of the seats are covered in a black coloured panel. The seat bases fold down and again are deeply padded and upholstered in the same material. The bottom of the seats are again covered in the same black coloured panel. The arm sections on the seats are made from cast iron, these have resprayed in gold. The left hand side as you look at seats is fitted with a decorative aisle end panel. The end panel is decorated with a stylised sun motif. To the tops of the arms they are fitted with shaped and polished wooden arm rests. The chairs will freestand fine but can mounted down to the floor or a plinth to add extra support. The chairs were originally fitted in a theatre in Scotland then used in a sports venue. The chairs would be ideal in a waiting room, home cinema, hairdressers, barbers shop, entrance way seating or a feature in a shop.

Condition
The condition of the chairs are excellent, with light marks on the material, nothing major. The wooden areas may have light scuffs and marks . Overall ready to be placed and used.
