A Pair of Vintage Art Deco C1930s Cinema Theatre Seats or Chairs Patterned Wool
A pair of vintage or retro Art Déco Circa 1930s cinema or theatre seats or chairs, which are upholstered in patterned wool and having a decorative aisle end panel to one side. The seats are formed with backs being curved. The seats have then been upholstered in a patterned wool material. This is done with herring bones lines of greens, blues and reds on a pink background. To the centre of the backs they have fitted seat numbers these are 33 & 34. The seat backs have a turquoise painted panel set on the,. The bases of the seats have again been upholstered in the same material. The bottoms of the seats are covered with a turquoise painted wooden panel on them. The arms on the seats are made from cast iron, which are the original worn gold colour. On one side there is an aisle end panel, this is decorated with squares. To the tops of the arms there are shaped and polished wooden arm rests. The chairs date to around 1930 and were originally fitted in cinema in Manchester. The chairs will free stand fine but can be easily mounted down to the floor or a plinth. The chairs are ideal for a home cinema, hotel, waiting areas, hairdressers, barbers shops, hallway, a feature point etc.

Condition
The condition of the seats are very good, with light scuffs and marks to the wooden and metal areas. The upholstery has light marks from years of use. These are still very comfy and ready to be used.
