A Pair of Vintage Art Deco C1930s Cinema Theatre Seats or Chairs Grey Velvet Upholstery & Aisle End Panels

A pair of vintage or retro Art Deco Circa 1930s cinema or theatre seats or chairs, which are upholstered in a grey velvet material and set with a pair of aisle end panels. The seat backs are curved and then are padded and upholstered in a grey velvet material. The back of the seats are also covered in the grey velvet material. The seat bases fold down and again are deeply padded and upholstered in the same grey material. The bottom of the seats are covered in a polished wooden panels. The arm sections on the chairs are made from cast iron. They are all painted in a dark grey colour. To either end there is a decorative aisle end panel, these are cast with square designs on them. To the tops of the arms there are polished wooden arm rests. These seats were originally fitted in a theatre in Manchester. The chairs will freestand but can be better mounted down to add extra support. The chairs would be ideal for use in a home cinema, waiting area, hairdressers, hallway or as a feature.

Condition
The condition of the chairs are excellent, there is light scuffs and wear marks on the chairs. The wooden areas have light scratches and scuffs. Overall ready to be placed and used.
