A Pair of Georgian Ash Hall or Bedroom Chairs with Needlepoint Seats
A pair of Georgian ash hall or Bedroom chairs, with pierced back splats and with the seats having needlepoint upholstery. The chairs are made from ash or elm, which has a good colour and grain patination. The chairs are formed wit them having a central pierced back splat with carved decoration. Each chair has shaped supports. The seat bases on the chairs, are done with a needlepoint decoration. The design is done with purple, green and yellow leaves and flowers on a blue background. The pair of chairs are raised on square supports, with H shaped strengthening supports. The chairs are ideal for a hallway, bedroom, dining chairs. The chairs date to around 1770-1790.

Condition
The condition of the chairs are excellent, with light scuffs and marks. There is a couple of very old woodwork holes, which are dead but have been treated again to be complete. Overall a good pair of antique chairs ready to be used.
