A Mid C17th Period Oak Country Side Table Raised on Turned Supports

A Mid C17th circa 1680 period dark oak country side table, raised on turned supports and of pegged construction. The table is made from oak, which has a good rich colour to it. The table is formed with the top being a three plank top, with stepped and rounded edge. The table is raised on turned supports and has bar stretchers between the legs. The table has a pegged construction and dates to around 1680.

Condition
The condition of the table is very good, there is signs of very old woodworm nothing live now. There is light scuffs and marks. Under the top it has had some old strengthening bars fitted. The top has recently been cleaned and waxed.
