A Georgian Inlaid Mahogany Night-stand Bedside Cabinet Or Cupboard

A Georgian inlaid mahogany night stand or bedside chest, which is raised on shaped bracket feet. The night stand is made from mahogany, which has a good colour and grain patination. The bedside cabinet is formed with the top having an inlay around the edge. To the front of the cabinet it is set with a small pair of cupboard doors to the top each having stringing inlay around them and then drop loop handles. Opening the pair of cupboard doors it has a good storage area. To the bottom there is a full length storage drawer, again inlaid around the edge and stringing decoration on them also. The whole cabinet is raised on shaped bracket feet. Overall a great sized cabinet with lots of storage area. The night stand dates to around 1790.

Condition
The condition of the night stand is very good, there is an old age related crack across the top and sides, which has been partially filled with wax. There is light scuffs and marks, a few old woodworm holes but nothing live or new all very old. Overall a great sized cabinet with lots of storage ready to be placed and used.
