A Pair of Vintage Art Deco C1930s Cinema Theatre Seats or Chairs Red Velvet Upholstery 

A pair of vintage or retro Art Deco circa 1930s cinema or theatre seats or chairs, which are upholstered in a red velvet. The seats are formed with the backs being shaped and then having a turned and polished wooden top rail. The chairs backs are then deeply padded and upholstered in a red velvet material. To the backs of the seats they are done in polished wood. The seat bases fold down and are again deeply padded and upholstered in the same red velvet. To the bottom of the seats they are fitted with seat numbers these are 18,19. The bottoms of the seats are covered in a black painted wooden panel. The arm sections on the seats are made from cast iron, these are painted gold. To the tops of the arms they have shaped and polished wooden arm rests. These seats were originally fitted in a cinema in Yorkshire. The chairs will freestand fine but can also be fitted down in needed. The chairs would be ideal for a home cinema, hotel, waiting area, hairdressers, barbers shops, hallway or a feature point.

Condition
The condition of the seats are excellent, a few light marks, but overall very good to say they have been used for 80 years. They have probably been reupholstered at some point.
