A Large Early C20th Italian Petra Dura Panel Plaque Parakeet

A large and quite heavy Early C20th Italian panel or plaque depicting a parakeet landing on a branch. The plaque is formed with it being set with 100s of small pieces of coloured stone. There are set into a metal frame and then into a concrete or something similar. The plaque depicts the parakeet just about to land on a branch. It is coloured with tones of yellow, blue, black, white and red all on a background colour of terracotta. The plaque has quite a bit of detail and the small sections of stone are all various shapes and sizes. The plaque is very heavy and could be used a wall plaque or maybe even as a table top. The plaque is hard to date but maybe early to mid C20th.
