A Vintage Walnut and Bur Walnut Ladies Fall Front Bureau

A vintage walnut and bur walnut ladies fall front bureau, raised on long slender cabriole supports. The bureau is made from a walnut and bur walnut, which has a good colour and grain patination. The bureau is formed with the top, drawer front and central part of the fall front being set with the burr walnut. The fall front is quarterly veneered and has walnut cross banding. Opening the bureau, it is set with various pigeon holes, and a green leatherette writing pad. To the base of the bureau it is set with a single drawer, set with brass drop handles. Either side of the drawer it has pull out fall front supports. The whole bureau is raised on long slender cabriole supports. The bureau dates to around 1970, and is of a great small size.
