A Victorian Carved Walnut Mirror Fronted Double Wardrobe

A Victorian carved walnut mirror fronted double door wardrobe, raised on a single drawer base. The wardrobe is made from walnut, which has a good colour and grain patination. The wardrobe is formed with it having two doors. Each door is set with a full length bevel edged dome topped dressing mirror. To the top of each door it has a carved moulding. Opening the wardrobe it is set with various clothes hooks. It is lined with a red pleated material. The whole wardrobe is raised on a single storage drawer to the base. The top of the wardrobe has a stepped and moulded cornice. The wardrobe splits into three sections for ease of moving. We have the matching dressing table listed separately. The wardrobe dates to around 1880.

Condition
The condition of the wardrobe is excellent, with light scuffs and marks. The mirror have age related marks on them. There is no lock in one of the doors, the other has lock and key. There is a tiny piece of wood missing off the cornice hardly noticeable. Overall a great wardrobe ready to be placed and used.
