A Victorian Velvet Upholstered Open Tub Armchair Raised on Turned Supports Great Shape

A Victorian green velvet upholstered open tub armchair, raised on squat turned supports, and of a great shape. The chair is formed with the back being curved and having scrolling shaped top edge. The arms come out from the back and curve and scroll round. The chair is open shape and has a bow fronted seat. The seat is deeply padded and upholstered in a green velvet material, with twisted ropes trim. The chair is raised on squat turned front legs and angled back supports. The chair dates to around 1880. The chair is ideal for upholstery but can be used as is.

Condition
The condition of the chair is excellent, with light scuffs to the legs. The material is good no tears or rips so is useable as is or the chair can be reupholstered.
