Description

A Titchmarsh and Goodwin Solid Oak Dropleaf Dining Table Raised on Turned Supports

A great quality Titchmarsh and Goodwin style or possibly by them solid oak Drop leaf gate leg dining table raised on turned supports. The table is made from oak, which has a great colour and grain patination, along with the aged look to the top where marks have been to make it look older than it is. The tables construction is all pegged joints. The top of the table has rounded edges and once both leaves are up it will make an oval table. The table would sit 4-6 people once open. The leaves are supported on fold out legs. All the legs on the table are turned, and it has bars between all the legs. The table is of a good quality and weight and could be by Titchmarsh and Goodwin but they don’t mark there pieces so not 100%. The table is of Georgian in style but probably dates to around 1970-80.
