A Quality Georgian Mahogany Graduated Chest of Four Drawers Raised on Bracket Feet

A quality Georgian mahogany graduated chest of four drawers, raised on bracket feet and with flame mahogany top. The chest is made from mahogany and a flame mahogany top, which has a great colour and grain patination. The chest is formed with with the top being rectangular and having a stepped and moulded edge. The top is a solid one piece flame mahogany section, which has a great grain markings. The chest is then set with four full length storage drawer, all graduated in size. Each drawer is set with ornate brass angled drop handles. The back plates on the handles are done with dolphins and a face mask to the centre. Each drawer is lined in oak. The chest is raised on bracket feet. The chest is of great quality and of a good size. The chest dates to around 1790-1820. Each drawer has its lock fitted but we don’t have the key.

The condition of the chest is excellent, with it being light restored. Odd light mark left to show age but overall ready to be placed and used.
