A Victorian Carved Walnut & Bur Walnut Mirror Fronted Single Door Wardrobe

A Victorian carved walnut mirror fronted single door wardrobe with burr walnut panels with Art Nouveau Influences. The wardrobe is made mainly of walnut, which has a good colour and grain patination. It also has burr walnut panels, which add a great contrast and good colour. The wardrobe is formed with formed with it having a central door, set with full length bevel edged dressing mirror. There is a carved section above the door. Either side of the door there is shaped burr walnut panels, each carved with Art Nouveau influences. Opening the wardrobe it is set with clothes hooks, but a rail could be easily added. To the base of the wardrobe it has a burr walnut fronted single storage drawer. To the top of the wardrobe it has a stepped and carved pediment. The wardrobe dates to around 1880. It will split into various sections for ease of moving.
