A Royal Doulton Stoneware Jug or Small Flagon Boy Swimming Scene

An unusual Royal Doulton stoneware jug or small flagon, with small loop handle, glazed top section and painted with a scene of a boy near a river. The flagon is formed with it being baluster in shape. The flagon is then set with the top section being glazed in an olive green colour. To the back of the flagon it has a small loop handle fitted. Below this the flagon is just stone coloured with a glazed finish. The flagon is then decorated with a hand painted scene. The scene depicts a boy stood by the edge of the river. There’s a small sign saying no fishing but he boy look unhappy like he may of fell in. The flagon is marked to the base with impressed Royal Doulton stamp and impressed number 6629.
